Pure Strike 100
Babolat's control line rather than its power line — the 16x20 bed and thinner beam trade the Pure Drive's free depth for a much more direct, predictable ball. Expect a clean, connected response on flat drives and genuinely reliable targeting; expect also to supply your own pace, because it will not manufacture depth for you on a lazy swing. Third-generation Strikes are noticeably less brittle than the early ones, so it stays firm without turning harsh.
Pure Strike 98
The most disciplined frame in the Strike family: 18x20 and 98 square inches means low launch, tight dispersion and very little unintended depth. Rewards a long, committed swing and punishes a short one. Feel is firm and informative rather than plush. Choose it if your misses are long rather than into the net, and if you would rather add power with strings than subtract it with technique.
Choosing between them
