Model notes
Defyer 98 Pro
Wilson's 2026 spin-control frame, and the most interesting release in the line for a while. It swings fast for a 305g frame and produces real, controlled spin — but it rewards a committed swing rather than looping the ball automatically. Stability is its standout trait: it holds its line against a heavy incoming ball instead of asking you to muscle it. Damping makes it plusher than a frame this aggressive has any right to be. Less raw power than an Aero or a VCORE, and it may want a little weight for plow-through.
Defyer 100
The more forgiving Defyer: a larger head and more launch, with the same plush, damped impact as the 98 Pro but noticeably easier depth. It asks less of your swing and gives back more free pace, at the cost of the tighter control and planted stability that make the 98 Pro interesting. The sensible pick if the Defyer character appeals but a true player's spec does not.
Choosing between them
Frames in one family share a construction story but not a playing character — head size, pattern and swingweight move the numbers above far more than the marketing does.
